Robert “Bob” Glenn Stoughton, age 68, passed away at UPMC East in Monroeville, surrounded by his daughters and siblings on Saturday, January 12, 2019. He was born on June 30, 1950 in Wilkinsburg, PA to Ralph and Marie (Stull) Stoughton. Left to honor and remember his love are Bob’s 3 daughters, Marita (Stoughton) Pugliano, Lindsay Stoughton and Bobbi Stoughton; 4 grandchildren; Isaiah Brandenburgh, Ronald Lewis III, Brantley Lewis and Brielle Williams. Bob is preceded in death by his parents and brother John Stoughton. In addition to, he is survived by siblings, brother Mike and wife Alberta Stoughton, sister Joyce Marcoz, brother Pete and wife Gretchen Stoughton, sister’s Carol Giacomin and Nancy Stoughton. Bob worked as a brick layer/mason prior to retiring in 2009. He spent his retirement years living in a small cottage along the upper Allegheny River near Kennerdell, PA. Bob enjoyed the outdoor life, in particular the times spent hiking, fly fishing and drinking beer with his brothers in the Beartooth Mountains of Montana.
Arrangements
A memorial celebration of his life is being planned for this summer along the upper Allegheny River where he spent his years following retirement.
