Paul M. Danko, age 76, passed away peacefully on January 9, 2018 at Haven Convalescent Home in New Castle. Formerly of Rankin, Pa., He was the son of the late Mary (Molnar) and Paul Danko; brother of the late Bernard Danko and brother of Joanne Danko; father of Paul Danko Jr. of Buffalo, NY; Nicholas (Bets) Danko of New Castle; Pa. and Jacqueline Hooper of Monroeville, Pa. There are ten grandchildren. He is also survived by his former wife Josephine Veltre. He was known for his hearty laugh and fun sense of humor. He served in the Navy 1960-1961 on The USS Independence. He especially enjoyed cooking for all occasions and organizing pig roasts for his family and friends. He was not afraid to fix or build anything – working in carpentry, brick laying, pouring concrete, welding, and having the skills of an electrician, mechanic, engineer, and businessman. He will be greatly missed.
