Rita Marie Ambrose Fey, 89, of North Versailles passed away Thursday, Feb. 9, 2017. She was born June 9, 1927, in Duquesne, the daughter of the late Harry C. and Agnes E. (Maloy) Ambrose. She was the beloved wife of 57 years of the late Lawrence E. Fey and the dear mother of Linda Madden-Brenholts, of North Versailles, Mark Fey (Judy), of North Versailles, Diane Cramer (David), of Champion, Cheryl Katchur (Stephen), of North Huntingdon, Michael “Tim” Fey (Mary Ann), of San Diego, Calif., and Lawrence “Skip” Fey (Mae), of Escondido. She was a wonderful Gram to David, Michael and the late Erin Madden, Tracy and Jennifer Fey, Kelly (Fey) Anderson, Megan (Cramer) Fowler, Kendra (Cramer) Guilliams, Nicholas and Erik Katchur and Shawna Fey. She leaves 13 great-grandchildren and many nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her brother, Jack Stiver; and sisters, Alice Canavan and Regina Morsey; as well as many beloved sisters and brothers-in-law. A member of St. Robert Bellarmine Church, she was once a member of the choir and Christian Women. She enjoyed singing through all her days, a life well lived.
